The project formerly known as Red Soul is now going to be called “Robotic Minion Starter Kit”. It’s got a nice ring to it, don’t you think? The boards came back from Sunstone today and I soldered one of them with the parts I had. I am still waiting on more FTDI chips, a 100uH choke and a USB connector.

You can see protoype 3 next to prototype 2. #3 is mostly surface mount components with some layout changes. You can also see the edge connector is now a screwless spring header and the LCD connector is now a 16 pin ribbon cable. With a little luck I will have 2 working prototypes V3 by the end of the week.
